INFRAMAG for the future transport
This is a new and spectacular route to Helsinki. It runs partly in a tunnel in the Botteviken, from Sweden over to Åland to continue there on bridges to the Finnish mainland. It will be a very short journey and there are similar buildings, for example, in Japan.
This means that if you leave Stockholm at 08:00, you will be in Helsinki at 9:38 with the fastest connection. Also means that the train has time to make many trips, round trips, during the day. Also stops at both Norrtälje and Arlanda.
There are also proposals for a fast line between STOCKHOLM - HELSINGFORS that goes around the entire bottom bay and it exists as line 1.
