The train and timetables are calculated based on a speed of 450 km/h. The line is double-track and has connecting connections in Ånge and Östersund. In Östersund the indal line meets up and in Ånge the line from Gävle will meet up. The line to Gävle is single-track. The connection of the inland railway takes place to a single-track line today, but can be significantly expanded and in a future version can be double-track.
