INFRAMAG for the future transport
The currently dormant inland railway is being properly upgraded. Is today a purely tourist track that conducts a lot of local events during the summer and the rest of the time there is limited freight transport.
The new iframag line would be possible to transport people with high-speed trains. Banana would really become a tourist attraction and greatly increase the number of travelers. Then the track could be built so that freight transport could continue at night, for example.
Driving from Gällivare to Kristinehamn is not an efficient option. Takes a full 15 hours and 14 minutes. In addition to this, there is time for breaks and lunch
Flying with the electric powered aircraft available is also not an option. They have to stop over to charge
the batteries, or replace the batteries. Takes 4 hours and 45 minutes.
However, if you take the train from Gällivare to Kristinehamn, it takes 2 hours and 10 minutes and you can use the time for work to 100%.
Result: The train is the only real option.
Note: Today, the airline has only presented flights with a performance of 50 passengers and a range of 250 km and with an airspeed
at 500 km/h.
